Some signs that can be seen before entering the hospital.

Upon entering the hospital, you see the welcome sign which is located behind the reception desk. When you walk through the front door, the reception desk is to your left, the exam rooms are directly in front of you, and the waiting area is to your right.  The reception area and waiting is one large, open area.

Sign found behind reception desk.
Inside view from the left as you walk in front entrance.
Another view from the left as you enter. This picture shows the supplies available to the public for sale.
View straight ahead of you upon entering through the front entrance door.  You can see the exam room doors in this picture.  Exam room 1 is the door to the left (under cattle horns), exam room 2 door is to the right (under cattle horns), and the door located to the right of exam room 2 is the entrance to the restroom.

This picture is the view of the waiting area which is too your left upon entering.  The door in the corner of the pictures (on the right of the picture) is the door entering into the office/conference area.

This is a picture of exam room 1.  The door in the picture lead to the test/surgical prep/recovery area. The picture is taken from the doorway entering into the exam room from the waiting area.
This is a picture of exam room 2.  The door in the picture lead to the test/surgical prep/recovery area. The picture is taken from the doorway entering into the exam room from the waiting area.
This picture was taken from the waiting area entering into the storage area located behind the reception/waiting area.  The door seen in the picture and through the doorway from the waiting area, is the door that leads out to the livestock/chute area. (see diagram for reference)

This is a picture of the storage area.  It was taken just inside the entrance door of the storage area.  Doctor Mills is seen with a client discussing some test results.  The door directly behind the client and Doctor Mills leads to the livestock/chute area.  In the left of the picture, you can see medications (by prescription only) and medical supplies located on shelves.  Just barely in the picture and to the right you can observe the refrigerated cabinets that store medications that must be refrigerated.

Pictures of medications and medical supplies that can be found on the selves to the left in the storage area.

Pictures of medications and medical supplies that can be found located to the right in the storage area. These medications and supplies are kept in refrigerated cabinets/coolers.  To the right of the right side cabinet is the doorway leading into the surgical area.

This picture is taken just inside the surgical area.  Behind the staff and client you can see the doorway leading into the storage area.  Please note the placement of the white board in this picture as it is located in-between the doorway leading to the test/surgical prep./recovery area (to the left of the white board and out of the picture) and the storage area (as seen in the doorway to the right of the whiteboard).
This picture is taken just inside the doorway.  You can just barely see the doorway from the storage area in the left of the picture.  This is what you would upon entering the surgical area and looking to your left.
This picture is taken as you move around the room going to your right.  In this picture sink is just to your left and out of the picture frame as seen in the previous picture.
Picture of surgical area, moving around the room in a clockwise direction.  The hallway directly behind Doctor Mills leads to the grooming area and indoor kennels.  The doorway seen just behind the corner of the operating table is the doorway into the test/surgical prep./recovery area.  Notice the location of the white board as this is the board that is located in-between the test/surgical prep./recovery area and the the storage area.  At this point, the pictures have made a complete round of the surgical area.
This picture shows the test/surgical prep./recovery area (from now on referred to as the recovery area).  Just to the right and out of view in this picture is the surgical area.  The refrigerator in the corner contains medications that may be needed at a moments notice.  The location of this refrigerator is next to the surgery and in recovery for quick access.
Recovery area picture going in a clockwise rotation of pictures.   To the right of the countertop/cabinets and out of view of the picture is a doorway that lead out to the indoor kennel area.
Recovery area in clockwise rotation of pictures.  The doorway in the picture leads to the lab/x-ray area.  The white machine seen in the center of the picture is an oxygen box used to provide pure oxygen to smaller patients.
This picture now makes a complete rotation of the recovery area.  In this picture I am standing with the refrigerator directly behind me.  In the left corner you can see the entrance into the lab/x-ray area and the closed door located behind the recovery/prep. table you can see the door to exam room 2.  To the right and out of view, is the entrance into the surgery.

The next picture was taken as you enter the lab/x-ray area.  If you step into the room from the recovery area and immediately turn to your left, this picture is what you would observe.  Take note of all the cultural artifacts (testing equipment) that are present for use in the lab/x-ray area.
This next picture is going in a clockwise direction around the room.  The doorway on the right in the picture leads an additional storage area where larger items are stored.  The second doorway seen through the entrance into the storage area is the entrance to the conference room (also doubles as a lunch room).
You can just make out the corner of the doorway into the storage room on the left of this picture.  The doorway seen in this picture is an additional storage area.  To the right of the refrigerator (contains medications to aid in the comfort of a patient needing x-rays along with chemicals needed in lab testing) and out of the pictures view is the doorway that leads into the recovery area.  At this point, the complete rotation of pictures has been made of the lab/x-ray area.
The next area is just a storage area and not much is in this area other than a few shelves with larger items located on them therefore I only took a picture of the selves.
From the storage area, you enter into the conference room.  The conference room also doubles as a lunch room for staff.
From the conference room, you enter the office area.  Doctor Mills is pictured here at his desk.

At this point, I am going to move back into the storage area that is located just outside of the waiting area and surgical area.  From this area, I am going to move into the livestock area/chute area.  I have re-posted the storage area picture for your reference.
Upon entering the livestock area, I have stepped to my left and taken the picture of the livestock area and chutes used to exam livestock. The chutes aide the vets and other staff in their safety and aids the livestock in safe handling procedures for exams.  In this picture, you can see a mat on the floor.  This mat is located just outside of the door that leads back into the storage area of the hospital.
Following are some additional pictures of the livestock area.

This is a picture taken from the livestock area heading outside to the outside chutes.

Additional picture of outside chute area.  Wade is seen in this picture hosing it down and cleaning it of debris.
Back view of Durant Animal Hospital.  In this picture you can see the outdoor kennels.

Picture of the outdoor kennels taken from inside the kennel area.
